True love should be everlasting. Through thick and thin. That analogy with the flower slowly dying is the only part that lost me in the entire thing. True love should not die.

yea it should be, but alot of times its not. love started out as friendship, then it blooms and slowly dwindles off. rather thats one person falling out of love or the couple dying. but yea love can be like a flower. but so can life.

only in the sense that if you plant it watch it grow feed it, nourish it, talk to it,water it and care for it everyday then LOVE is like a flower, which continues to bloom as you care for it>*

Bobo, you are too cute. I have not heard this before. It would be nice if love was everlasting, but only God's love is this way.

Love is like work you have to keep at it. Love is like a flower if you don't continue to take care of it it will wither away.

I do for 3 major motives: a million. they're very quite (esp. roses, frangipanies, lilies and sakura (cherry blossoms)) and they carry the mood. 2. a number of them scent beautiful. 3. human beings received't believe that flora might want to be deadly (oleander), mhuhahaha! (Sorry my morbid humorousness : )).

If you work at it the flower will stay alive. Nobody wants to work anymore. They want fairy dust and magic. That's why some people marry and marry and marry and marry.

Love is more like a tree, in my opinion. Its starts small, grows, and with a good gardener (I dunno, it's the only thing I cant think of) it will be strong and healthy for years and years; if left uncared for, it may die.
