my problems:

1) i said i made out with two guys named roger and kyle when i didn't. and my friend was with me and she knows i didn't make out with them. i have to keep all of my other friends (sarah, jen, katie, and a whole bunch of other people) from telling the girl who went with me when i didn't make out with those two guys (her name is jessie...same name as me) the problem is jessie is friends with sarah, jen katie, and all those other people and i'm afraid they'll get on the subject. i already told them not to tell her but i don't trust them.

2) i play soccer and have never scored a goal but i told my friend becca who lives in rhode island (i live in ct) that i score a ton of goals all the time and i'm really good at soccer. she's coming down to ct this weekend and she'll be hanging out with my soccer friends with me and chillin with my parents who know i've never scored a goal. if she mentions anything about me scoring a lot i'm basically dead.

yep. i'll add the rest later.

3) my friend becca is coming down from rhode island to stay the weekend and she's going to be hanging out with me at parties or getting together with me and my friends. i told her a bunch of crap about how i'm friends with all the really popular girls and i'm wild and crazy and drink a lot of alcohol and make out with a bunch of guys but the truth is i've never made out with a guy in my life and the most alcohol i've ever had is one shot of diluted vodka. i lied to her about a bunch of stuff and now she's going to be meeting all the different people i told her i'm bff's with and made out with and they'll act like they don't even know me!

i will stop lying i just need to cover up the above 3 things first then i swear i'll stop. those were my last lies ever. i swear i hate the feeling of being trapped in a web of lies and i'm in too deep to come clean now so i won't. but i won't lie ever again about anything else except for what i jsut told you about up there^.

seriously. please help.

This is a vicious cycle that won't end until it all crashes back down on you. Better come clean before you have to tell more lies.

Your first mistake is thinking your too deep to tell the truth. Second confront the reason you are bragging about a life that you don't live and except that you are normal, possible boring. We all are at different phases of our life.
As for the humiliation that is about to come expect it. Get it over with fast or let in unravel on it's own. Find a friend and tell them the truth so that when it all goes down you have someone to help pick you up off the ground. A for your friend on the net just tell her you are a compulsive liar and you are looking into help for it. Then let her know you lied to her but would like to know she likes you for you and not just soccer. She may not visit for a while but surely you two can be friends. Honest I don't know. You need to stop lying. You might lie to your parents one day ,and be kidnapped that night. They would never know because you lied.

You have a problem. Even if you think of a way to keep these lies going now, eventually it will catch up with you. Then you'll be in bigger trouble because you will have built a web of deceit so complicated, you'll start to forget who you told what. It's all going to come back and bite you in the @ss. As it is, it's probably no big deal to come clean. The longer you wait and the more lies you tell, the harder it will be and the more embarrassed you will be. As cheesey as it sounds honesty is the best policy.

Well, first off you better hope they don't realise you use yahoo answers and read this.
In all honesty, these are pretty stupid and childish things to lie about. I'd tell them the truth, hopefully they'll be like "I figured as much" and wont care. Are these really important things to keep hidden from your friends. Confess now before the damage is worse and you get caught.

Now if you committed a series of felonies, that is a different story.....

Unless you have a perfect memory and no witnesses, your lies will come back to haunt you.

My advice to you: Come clean, life is much easier. You may lose a friend or two but if they go away in spite of your coming clean they probably not worht hanging around with.

Life is too short to live a lie. Good luck

(1) tell the girls you were just kidding around with them and wanted to see how they would react.

(2) Hope she doesn't find out but if she does just admit you stretched the truth a bit. I doubt the other girls would say anything about your scoring to her anyway.
(3) It is better to be quiet than lie, It always ends up in a mess, at least for us emotionally.

thats funny...you must like the feeling you get in the pit of your stomach when you feel your going to get caught in a lie. thats a horrible feeling! why would you want to do that to yourself, it's going to multiply and add up to where you will loose all your friends, no one likes a liar...no one! stop lying! Hell ,it's alot more fun to tell the truth, try it you'll like it, besides theres nothing to worry about when you tell the truth..feels pretty good too..try it before it's to late. just tell your friend thats coming down the TRUTH she'll understand and respect you for it . really! try it it won't hurt a bit and you'll feel so much better...just don't lie anymore..you can do it LG

That's way people shouldn't tell lies. You have to tell another lie to cover up the first lie. The best thing you can do is come clean. Be honest for once. Tell them you weren't feeling good about yourself and you lied to make yourself feel more important. Then apologize.

I used to have a lying problem, and the part that sucked was that I was insanly god at it, Ok you definatly screwed up, face it, you can't change that. Hopefuly this taught you a lesson about lying. With me I lyed about little things that were totaly pointless and I never even needed to lie about them at all. Also, as much as you probably think your friend likes you more because she thinks you hang out with the 'popular crowd' and drink and party alot.....yeah....well she doesn't. Most likly your friend thinks your just a brat and a bragger and is trying to get her jealous of your new friends. So you probably just distanced yourself from that friend with out even knowing it. Thats what happened to me, and my friend actually thougt it was true that I was hanging around those kids and she got really jealous and tryed to distance herself from me. And trully, nobody likes druggies or slutts so pretending to be like that....just made a whole lot of people not like you. Also with the who guys thing.....yea pple will def find out about that. And when the guys do they'll most likly be mad at you, and thats gona suck because guys are way better friends with girls because they are more loyal, they cause way less drama, and they don't tell your sectrets. And will probably start calling you a slut because think you made out with both of them.....even though you never like sleept around with them girls will make the little 'story' way more than it really is. And the soccer thing....yeah i did that with another sport, and really....yeah doesnt work. And after I told people about it pple came to watch and I wasnt as good as I said I was. And then people will just think your stuck up and a braggert. Sooo basically............u did not make a good situation for yourslef......

What you can do is the hardest thing....tell everyone the truth. Its hard but people have more than likly done the same thing and will understadn and you will come to laugh about it lata, n they will think its a bit stupid that you lied, but they'll be even more upset when they find out you lied. I mean don't you get pissed when your friends lie to you? Or you can make a big joke out of it all and be like 'omg u guys thought i was serious! omg i was kidding! You obviously don't know me thst well lol' and laugh it off. Or in the game you can do really bad and make it look like your doing it on purpose to make a big joke out of it. Or you can continue lying and hope for the best even though thats probably the wordt choice you can go with...I would take the 1st choice. Your true friends will understand. Oh and a good leson in life is never try to be what you aern't...it wil get you nowhere and you will lose friends in the process....

Anyway I really do wish you the best, I may sound like a *****, but I no what your going through, I'v said a form of all the lies you told and you just gotta learn not to do it. Lying is pretty addicting, especially when it lets you get your way

Oh yeah I'v been in the same situation....I lost my best friend because of it. And I made people misserable. And I was misserable for a long time. And when my friend started lying to me 24/7 I would get so mad at her and she would just throw all the stuff I lied about back into my face. People didn't trust me much anymore. People though I was two-faced, a bragger, and a slut.....SO HAPPY LIL ENDING!

Oh yea and more than likly people all ready know your lying to them....nobody's that perfect

you should get caught in these lies. then you will have tons of people mad at you and maybe you will learn your lesson and be honest after the heat dies down. this always happens when people lie, its hard to keep the lie going that's why the saying is "oh what a wicked web we weave when at first we practice to deceive"

tell the truth its easier
