we have moved an upstairs radiator downstairs, extending pipework. all the other radiators get hot but the radiator that was moved doesnt.We have drained the system twice now and although we thought it was an airlock both times made no difference.constant bleeding of the system although air has been trapped still doesnt make any difference.

Are you saying you brought the piping from upstairs, down to the first floor and connected the radiator to it? If so, you need bleeder vents at the top of the pipes upstairs. Otherwise you have created a huge air trap.

You may need a small pump on the up-line to push the water back up stairs.
