I don't know how much money you have in the bank but straight 10 foot long pieces of any kind of oak 12 inches wide fully dressed will cost you a pretty penny.
If by thick, you mean more than 3/4" then that doubles the cost. I assume your reference to Tiger means quarter sawn oak. That adds even more cost. 6/4 plain red oak finished on two sizes, random length and width costs over $5 a board foot not counting shipping.
I don't know how long each shelf needs to be but I would probably be making them out of 3/4 oak plywood with a solid oak strip on the front about 1-1/4 inch wide to stiffen the plywood and add the appearance of depth to each shelf.

Assuming you are putting things on the shelves, which will hide most of the aesthetics, why pay a fortune for planking? Why not random 8 ft. shelving giving the wall a more dramatic look? If you accept the 8 ft. notion, then use 2 sided finished plywood with a finishing strip where exposed? A darn sight cheaper than planks and for a small fee, most lumber yards will cut to order (even down to 12"). Avoid the warpage!

First rob a bank.
"Tiger" oak is produced by a very wasteful sawing of the wood to get the pattern & you will not see it on the exposed edge anyhow.,
Be prepared for a shock if you can find it in the LxW & thickness needed for shelving.
Try specialty lumber yards , custom millwork shops or online cabinet makers sites.
If your'e in the N.East, try searching Constantine's , Dyke's lumber or Brewer's.
Best regards

In fifth grade my best friend and I convinced my two younger brothers that we were chosen by this "Inter-galactic" society to defend the planet from this evil force, only we can see, that wants to take over the universe, and we frequent other planets in our free time. It started out as my best friend and I talking in a made up language out nowhere just for fun, and it took off from there. We told my brothers all sorts of stuff and that we were always receiving "signs" giving us the heads up on something. My younger brother would freak out if he saw some foreign writing on TV. One day we took it to a new level. My parents and my best friend's went out to dinner together, leaving the four of us at my house. Without out warning our house was "under attack" by the enemy. I told both my brothers to stay in the basement and just swing a baseball bat in the air in case they try to come after them, while we go up stairs and "combat the enemy," which consisted of us just grunting, banging and stomping on the floor. I remember peeping into the basement and watching my brother swinging his ball bat into the air debating with my youngest brother whether they believed us or not, which was top 10 funniest things I ever seen in my 25 years of life. They gave us the benefit of the doubt for another few months until it was obvious.
