No - highly unlikely. The baby is effectively a parasite - you get ill, baby thrives.

Its not very likely. The baby is very well protected where it is. Some illnesses can affect the baby though - like chicken pox or German measles. But it is unlike the baby would even feel a sore throat or headache because its nerves aren't fully developed yet.

Most infections cannot hurt the baby unless you are dangerously ill. But there are some that can - chicken pox and rubella are two which can harm a developing baby even if the mum is hardly ill at all.

I would go see your doctor, get yourself checked out, and find out what medication you can and can't take.

while i replaced into 20 weeks I even have been given an extremely undesirable chilly for a week or so, my infant is superb nevertheless. To sense extra clever only use confusing chocolates on your sore throat and a selection of of different water. attempt to stay faraway from meds as they simply boring the chilly they don't help do away with it.

It can not harm the baby at all but you should not take any medication at all without seeing your gp or local pharmacist. It sound like you have a bit of a cold just hang in there and it should get better in a couple of days but if you are concerned make an appointment with your doctor

Yes.

That's one of the main reasons why prenatal care is so important. Some infections aren't a big deal, but some can cause serious birth defects, miscarriages, or stillbirths.

That's also one of the main reasons to have all your immunizations up to date--stuff like the mumps can cause serious problems w/fetuses.

Get it checked out. It may be nothing...but you aren't really in a position to know that. Ask a professional.

most illnesses in preg are harmless, bc as someone so lovingly said, in essence the baby does suck everything good out of you while ur preg!! :) However, you should still see your OB bc it could be somethign like strep or something serious. Always check with your OB and to make sure any meds u take are safe in preg!!
Goodl uck!

the baby will be fine. you might have just caught something nasty. try drinkin lots of tea with no sugar, soft foods, honey, and gurgaling salt water/listering also works.

If the baby comes down with similar symptoms, then she'd probably have the same thing you do. But if you don't get up in her face and eat off the same spoon, etc. you will minimize the chances baby could come down with your virus.
