spell check not working!?

Question

my spell check in Word 2007 isn't working... i've gone to the tool main and done the check as you type thing but it's still not working..any ideas or suggestions?

I looked in the Tools menu and the top instruction is 'Spelling and Grammar' (F7). Try pressing F7 to see if that works, otherwise use the 'Help' Menu.
