I would prefer to pick up the laundry from the people - that way I know whose clothes I'm washing.

I would ring the doorball or knock on the door, say hello and tell the person who I am and why I'm there. Pick up the laundry. Give any relevant information or write up a receipt or whatever the procedure is. Say thank you and drive away.

Hi Norm,
well, first i would get out of my truck and then I would walk up to the door and let the people know that I am there to take their clothes. Then, I would tell them your clothes will be ready in 1 day or depending how much they have maybe longer.
I would ask them if they have any special requests and then thank them for their business.
