The female bites, the male drinks nectar.
Blue Bottle Flies spread diseases like Infatago when they bite people because they sit on dead/decaying carcasses of animals/insects.

I don't think so. Instead they spit a mild acid onto there food to turn it into a liquid and then they suck it up through there straw-like mouth parts, so they don't need teeth.
