The 1874 gold dollar is a Indian Head-Large head type. It's vale is $70 in grade good to $245 in grade almost uncirculated. In low mint state $700. Of course the value goes up if the coin is in a higher mint state grade, a mint state-64 coin has a value of about $4,500. The above prices are about what a dealer will pay. plus or minus.
