Yeah, when i was in my teens, all my (well-meaning?!) friends encouraged me to try my hand in acting.
I happened to witness some movie-shootings in which the actors & actresses ( Major & Minor ones) had to sweat ( bleed) it out for hours even for simple scenes before the Director okayed each of the shots. I felt it was such a waste of time & decided to take the royal road of Education for success!
Acting is the hardest job & never a fun as it outwardly seems to be. And the chances of success is almost next to nil. Too risky an option. It is for the craziest crackpoTs!

Damn straight .. I have often wondered and saw movies and said dern I could do better than that. I was in all three of my plays in school and I thought i did really well. Rehearsed my lines and never made a bobble.

I have done some acting and I enjoy it. I could do it full time, the thing that would be hard is the rejection between jobs...
