Operation Northwoods was proof for me that they could carry out a terror attack on American soil against it's own people just to gain support go to war.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Northwoods

"Operation Northwoods, or Northwoods, was a 1962 plan by the US Department of Defense to cause acts of simulated or real terrorism and violence on US soil or against US interests, blamed on Cuba, in order to generate U.S. public support for military action against the Cuban government of Fidel Castro. As part of the U.S. government's Operation Mongoose anti-Castro initiative, the plan, which was not implemented, called for various false flag actions, including simulated or real state-sponsored acts of terrorism (such as hijacked planes) on U.S. and Cuban soil. The plan was proposed by senior U.S. Department of Defense leaders, including the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Lyman Louis Lemnitzer."

I'm not asking you if you think 9/11 was an inside job or whether BushFraud is smart enough to coordinate the attack or how could they keep 300 people quiet, I'm asking, since there was a plan to stage terror on US soil once to go to war, couldn't they have had another plan to stage terror attacks to go into war in Iraq?

By the way I don't think BushFraud is stupid or incompetent. They know exactly what they are doing in Iraq and in governemnt. Their plan from day 1 was to bring us down and they are doing a damn good job.

Operation Northlands was rejected by the US gov't.

It would have proved nothing even it the gov't had done Operation Northland, and it certainly proves nothing given that it was REJECTED by our gov't.

If anything, it shows that the gov't is capable of making the right decision and helps prove that the gov't did not "do" 9-11

You're giving an example where the gov't did NOT commit fake terrorism on itself. This can only argue AGAINST the notion that the gov't could have done 9-11

People are conditioned to believe that the "government" is too incompetent and uncoordinated to have orchestrated the 9/11 attacks. They believe that because they have failed to respond effectively to things like Hurricane Katrina or securing our borders that they are too inept to plan and carry out a false flag operation. But I think many people would be very surprised at just how intelligent our "govt." truly is. A lot of this so-called incompetence we're witnessing from them is simply a ruse. Everything they do is very calculated and deliberate. Things are micro-managed a lot more than we think.

Regarding leaks: there most likely wouldn't be any leaks since people are trained well to keep their mouths shut in the higher echelons of government. I am sure it was made clear to all involved that any attempts at exposure would be met with swift punishment (death). The truth is, they are very capable of successfully pulling off such a plot without it leaking. Our mainstream media is controlled. The main media outlets only report skewed information and lies. Even if someone who was involved did come forward to the media, they would quickly discredit, demonize or make the person out to be crazy, and all would be forgotten. The "govt." is counting on the fact that the majority of the people will not believe it.

The infamous "Cuban missile crisis" was a confrontation of USA over Cuba, immediate after the liberation and installation of a communist regime under Fidel Castro and due to threat of communism, John F Kennedy the then President decided to even invade Cuba!

Soon after the Cuban Revolution the USSR became concerned about the political orientation of Fidel Castro's government, and thus Cuba was a major focus of the new Kennedy administration when it assumed power in January 1961.[1] In Havana, there was fear of military intervention by the United States in Cuba. In April 1961, the threat of invasion became real when a force of CIA-trained Cuban exiles opposed to Castro landed at the Bay of Pigs. The invasion was quickly defeated by Cuba´s military forces. Castro was convinced the U.S. would invade Cuba.[2] Shortly after routing the Bay of Pigs Invasion, he declared Cuba a socialist republic, established formal ties with the Soviet Union, and modernized Cuba's military!

By all above anyone could sense the real threat of missle deployment in the cuban soil was imminent and that "Cuban missile crisis" had the whole world gripped in tension! So, the mock up exercise by military are always a part of training imparted for the alert and the preparedness of the forces for any such eventuality! However, terming the 9/11 horror as a stage managed show, to create a nationwide sympathy and acceptance for the Congress to decide to go for the war, is beyond anyboby's imagination!

9/11 was masterminded by Mohamud Osama Bin Laden with the assistance of Taliban Government and complete aasociation and guidance of Inter Services Intelligence of Pakistan and was executed in simplest way without anyone doubted for, right from the flight training of the terrorists in Florida till hitting the WTC Towers and the Pentagon.

America was totally wrong in its decision to go on a war with Iraq, in the pretext of finding and destroying the so called infamous WMD which they could locate nowhere in Iraq, but now paying a heavy price of thousands of soldiers killed and wounded and hundreds of billions of dollors spent, leaving it high and dry, not knowing how to make an honorable exit! In fact the war is pulling the nation down inspite of any denial from any quarters!

did the government do it? no, did factions within there use the government offices they have to do it? yes.

did bush know? absolutly, did his cabinet? yes. did most in congress? probably not. maybe a handful, why do people think this government is incapable of commiting murder and destruction to achieve it's aim? don't other governments do the same thing? remember absolute power corrupts absolutly, those are not just words.

when it comes to money and power those who have it protect it to the last and will use their power to keep others from attaining the same. selfishness and greed know no bounds with corrupt individuals. power hungry people reflect the same spirit as satan, they have no conscious are arrogant, and do not have an qualms to enslave or kill others.

though there are people within governments who are sincere, they are absolutly unable to stop this tide. all attempts to straighten out matters leads to assassinations, character attacks, threats, etc.

There are many reasons to prove that the US did not execute a 'false flag operation' against itself.

1.) As some of the others have noted, the logistical requirements of carrying out what would have been the biggest and most elaborate conspiracy of all time, are almost immeasurable. Military personnel, politicians, average citizens, and international intelligence agencies would all have to be in collusion for what?.......access to free oil?
Are you really convinced that a government that cannot keep any secret (just read the New York Times and Washington Post to see how many times our national security secrets are leaked) managed to stay mum about this proposterous conspiracy? In case you haven't noticed, democracies have been historically inept at keeping secrets (it goes back to the Greeks).

2.) If we did do this, why implicate our allies as being a big part of it. Most of the 19 hijackers were Saudi. If Bush-Cheney really wanted to go to war against Iraq and Iran, why not blame disgruntled Iraqi or Iranian terrorists? I cannot help but think that would have been a whole lot more believable.

3.) How do you account for the reams of evidence that points to al Qaeda as doing this? How do you account for their voluntary admission of their deeds?

4.) You can't have it both ways. The crux of the 9/11 conspiracy rests on the claim that our government did this, yet these same people (are you amongst them?) depict Bush as a shade above mentally retarded. Which is it, Bush the specially challenged leader or Bush, the Machivellian conspiracist? If the Bush political team was involved, why would they let so many of their staff be run out of office? Once free from the fetters of administrative loyalty, could not these people start talking. Sounds like a sloppy way of running a conspiracy.

5.) Every single 'big proof' of a conspiracy has been debunked (sorry Loose Change fans, perhaps you shouldn't have invested your faith in people who intended their work to be fiction!). Go to the Popular Mechanics website to see their report.

So, let me get this straight. One incident in Cold War American history (1962) has you convinced that America is out to pull the wool over its' citizens eyes? That says volumes about your opinion of this country. I am not saying we should blindly follow our government, what we should do is follow the old Reagan adage (I probably made you squirm uncomfortably there didn't I?) of: Trust, but verify.
Unfortunately you have trusted anti-American conspiracies without verifying the practical realities of the situation. I wouldn't want to be in your shoes.

OK genius and who would be so calculated as to initiate this?
Maybe Bill Clinton? First months of his term they struck the garages of the WTC? Think about it. What better way to mess the US up with a Republican President as Hillary waits in the wings. You think they care about numbers? No one in history has studied and imitated leaders so spot on carefully as WJ. If you know your history compare it. Think outside the box. Who had the most to gain? Another 8 yrs of the Clinton dynasty perhaps?
If you think the 9/11 Commission Report is missing pages because of the President? Look again, they protect former ones too. My opinion. Thank you.

It isn't necessarily the ethics...it's the LOGISTICS.

So many people would have to have been involved (upwards of three hundred, minimum) that someone would have talked by now. You can't keep an operation that big secret.
