He took me up to the hill with a city view, where we kissed for the first time (by the way, that hill is pretty special. Our city has a lot of hills, and not many people know about this one, which it's quite amazing. You have to hike to get there). It was very dark, so I could barely see him. I was sitting on the stone and he was kneeling, so I didn't realize he started proposing to me. I can't remember what he said though, I got nervous. And then he pulled out the ring (without a box because it didn't fit into his pants pocket), I said yes.
When we got into a car, I looked at the ring in the car light and said "it's so small". (Haha. He still makes fun of that). The diamond in the reality wasn't small, as an opposite it was quite big but I had never seen a diamond before so I didn't know. Just the ring looked very tiny, and that was my initial reaction. I am happy that he didn't get offended because he knew me better. I never cared about sizes of diamonds.

My husband and I had been talking about marriage for a little while and one night he said "I'll probably have to ask you a couple of times before you tell me yes." The next day when he came home from work, he kissed me and said "Will you marry me?" I thought he was kidding around, so I said "Sure!". I found out later he was serious, and that was pretty much the extent of the proposal. Sometimes I wonder why he didn't do something more special....

on christmas day with his daughter there and me on the phone with my mom.i didn't go home that year because my parents and i were in a strained relationship over my divorce 8 months earlier and i couldn't say anything on the phone to my mom at the time but i was estatic.i knew he was the one i wanted for quite a while and even though i was his 3rd attempt to try for a good marriage,we were very happy.as soon as i got off the phone,i made sure that he was sure that he wanted to do this one last time!and that is my last and final proposal!

on the Beach, We were walking on the beach at night time, and he told me he doesnt want to loose me to Florida, Were my parents retired, and they were going to take me with them, I was a senior in high school, and he said to me, darling, and held my hand, and said, dont tell me iam going to be married to a nut, cause i was crying, and then he asked me to marry him
