get most of your contacts? Do they invite you or do invite them?
I know it's no big deal to anyone else, but I finally made it to level 2. Seems like it took forever.

It's a little bit of both; I generally contact people who's questions I like, or if we have similar interests.
And it is a big deal! Congrats!!

you can invite a contact or they can invite you and dont worry it took my like forever to get to the level i am at now

It can work either way! It's a big deal to me, it takes soooo long to get up a level, so many points to earn! Congrats! I've been around a while and I'm still plodding my way to level 3.

I usually wait for someone to add me and then I decide if I want to add them in return but there are some that I have added!! I don't mind getting new contacts as long as they are nice!! Congratulations on making Level 2!! You're welcome to be one of my contacts if you'd like!!

Watch how people ask questions and how they answer. If you think they are funny/smart/goofy/insightful add them...and even if they do not add you right away they may eventually. Some are leery about newbies due trolls (someone trying to cause trouble) that they may wait to see what kind of person you are and how you answer.

A little of both. If I see someone alot and like their questions, I make them my contact. Same goes in reverse. Sometimes people like your comments/questions.

I'm not long around either.if someone writes an interesting answer that i agree with or impresses me i click to become a fan.it does not mean that incompletely agree with absolutely every point of view they express.good luck
