look at the puppie shelters. you would be amazed at how many horrible dog owners give up on overactive dogs
why purchase when you can save?
I have two street puppies from Taiwan. They know they are lucky and they are grateful. Plus they are super smart.

The other answers here are so correct. They are so smart, but JRs are so hyper that many people do not know what they are getting. Try a rescue group as well. Good luck!

Animal shelters or adoption agencies. DO NOT BUY when you can rescue a greatful doggie needing a home. :D
