It stays the same. You would have to go back to court and make a new schedule for custody if you would like to change it.

the child stayed with the custodial parent that was previously ordered.
which means the now ex-step parent has nothing to do with the said child. two whole different legal matters.

I was told that the custody remains the same until the JUDGE changes. It doesnt change any other way not even by marriage.
