Who's got the best NHL or collegiate rivalry?

When their rivalries were in full swing, I have seen live: Bruins-Canadians, Avs-Wings, Bears-Phantoms, and I saw Boston U play Boston College in the Beanpot Classic.

I still vote for Michigan - Michigan State.

74,000 people were at the Outdoor War in 2001 and I was one of them. They could play that game every year and the great fans of those 2 schools would fill any stadium they pick to have the game. It wouldn't matter what the records were or how bad one of the schools could become, that is a rivalry that will NEVER die.

I'd say the Michigan State v. U of Mich is a huge college rivalry. The Detroit/Colorado rivalry isn't what it used to be. Now that Roy is gone, Forsberg, Foote, Blake, etc., there is almost no one to hate on that team anymore...all the haters are just gone and moved on. I think the Nashville v. Detroit match up got pretty heated and that may have turned into something big at one time. Kings v. Anaheim is always a nice rivalry match up to watch.

Toronto-Montreal
Detroit-Colorado (to a lesser extent now)
Boston-Montreal

Boston University-Boston College
Michigan-Michigan State
Michigan Tech-Northern Michigan

And the Rivalry that beats any rivalry from any sport ever is the Michigan-Ohio State college football rivalry, hands down, no matter what anyone says period.

The servants’ international, in assessment, is characterised by way of user-friendly desires, and early deaths further approximately by way of ailment and poverty extremely than dueling and grand passions.
