I have at the moment because they are updating the pipe/sewage system.
I swore just before because one of the machines made a loud noise too.

r u living in my area? our streets have been fukked up for weeks now, ive got to drive around a whole block just to get to a street thats a few seconds away, ive done burnouts infront of the workers cos they just block off our street whenever they feel like it, they are taking an eternity to fix a few roads pipes,and i guess they fixing the roads too
its pissing me off so bad, and the house accross the road is being built,. so i have noise and crap all over my neighbourhood!

We have it regular because we live just off the main road .
As soon as they fill the road back in
Somebody else comes and digs it again
They always seem to do it when my husband is nights so he gets no sleep in the day.
Its a right pain

that happens to me a lot, especially over the summer. this summer almost all of the houses near me were doing outdoor renovations and there was road construction going on. i woke up to the sound of power tools every morning.

Monday-Saturday. They're updating gas and water lines, fiber-optic, installing decorative lampposts, and resurfacing the street one block from me. And it starts at dawn. ARGH!
