Just read at least part of the Book of Mormon, it's probably the funniest and most spaced out book that I have ever read. I'm sure if they believe that, they couldn't even save at a bank.

Good grief people! I have been reading these answers and find so much intolerance. It's a free country. Freedom of religion is still the law. I don't care what other religions believe. Why do you? I believe in One God. We all worship him in different ways. Each church has it's own doctrine. Some might be pretty far out there, but that is their business. If you don't want to talk to Mormons or Jehovah witnesses, be polite, say no, and close the door.

That is what they claim. Thus they are collecting geneologies of everybody all over the world (which has been very useful to geneologists, I might add, whatever meaning they've given it). This is one manifestation of a tendency of many religions that claim universal validity or are otherwise serving imperialist expansion, although most commonly it takes the form of incorporating everyone else's gods and heroes or saints into their own pantheon or hierarchy of saints.

Yes and Micheal Jackson's children will be the Savior. Right after Donnie and Marie expose the fact that their children are actually inbred. Oh, yea God wants to save us all through a cult that was literally ran out of Illinois into the Great Salt Sea. I don't think so.....

, I have respect for another mans religion, however if they want to believe they're saving the world, it's not my place to turn my back on them, I know better. I am not going to make fun of them or, laugh at them.
I worked with, stood side by side, with men from other religions in war, and yes, some died by me. I watched some die, we all died, cried the same. When it's over, we all held hands and cried.

I will not make fun of another mans beliefs.

yeah, ha ha ha....baptism of the dead. They dip someone in the water in your place.....mormons are silly aren't they? i was visited by some of those mormons a few times, they came to my door all sweaty and stuff, and i felt bad for them, so i let them in, they talked my ear off, about Joseph smith and all that hooey...they think that they can save you from the afterlife if you dont live right while you are here, or dont convert to mormon, ha ha. if this is true, why cant we all just live regular lives and just leave it to the mormons to save us after we die? they also beleive that you will be strangers to your family in heaven if you dont 'seal' yourself to them on earth....ha ha. whats the point behind that? why would 'god' make that rule? they also beleive that "god" still speaks through the head of the mormon church...or the 'prophet'...this man can change the rules of the church just by saying 'god' told him its ok....just like the multiple marriage thing....which has now been changed back to not allowed by the Main branch of the church....For an all knowing super powered 'god' he changes his mind alot huh?

Apparently they have vaults and vaults of information on the living and deceased where they are prayed for so their souls can go to heaven.

They think that they are and, quite honestly, I don't care because it doesn't make any difference to me.

If I believed that they could actually affect my 'afterlife' by doing it, then I would share their beliefs and if I don't share their beliefs, why would I care what they do with their evenings and weekends?

I CONSIDER THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS TO BE A CULT AND SHOULD BE FORBIDDEN.
