My ex has a court order for child support, but he's filing an order of reconsideration. Does he still need to pay the court order until its changed, or does he not have to pay?

I should add more details.. nothing has happened to his earnings. The court date was just last week. He even said there was no problem with the amount. Now he's 'changed his mind.'

he still needs to pay until the order is changed. but the only resonsideration that will be done is lowering the amount if his financial circumstances has changed. such as he lost his job, has a new family, or a reduced amount of hours at work. you can never actually get an order that will allow you to NOT pay child support.

when i was in court waiting for my hearing, i heard a simular case and he was ordered to pay until that date. the judge has to say no more payment before he can be off the hook.
