Mine happened at the Canadian Air Guitar Championship. See, I am completely insane. For my performance, I chose the song "You Shook Me All Night Long" by AC/DC. Right band, wrong song - "If You Want Blood" would have been a more appropriate choice. I was the second performer that night, and the guy before me did a backflip on the stage. I kept thinking that I had to do something completely insane.
In the middle of the song, for some reason, I decided I was going to jump off the stage. I had intended to do one of my jumps and land on my feet. I got lost in the moment and went more horizontal than vertical when I jumped and I landed on my face.
Me, being the crazy girl I am, I got up, and realized that there was blood just gushing down my face. So I hobbled my way back onstage, grabbed the mic and said "Ladies and gentlemen, in the words of AC/DC, IF YOU WANT BLOOD, YOU GOT IT!" The whole place started cheering "BROKEN NOSE! BROKEN NOSE!"
And no, my nose was not broken. I had it checked out by a doctor a couple of days later, and all I had was a tiny little ulcer and I needed to put some cream on it.
And yes, I do realize that this makes me certifiably insane.

I broke my nose in two places with nothing ever coming into contact with it. I had my head crushed between the floor of a semi trailer and a roll of padding used underneath carpet. It broke my nose because, as the doctor put it, the head is like an orange. If you apply pressure on two opposite sides, it will bust out in the middle.

I cracked a bone in my wrist trying to get my ferret out of a couch. She had gone inside a tear in the lining and when I tried to coax her out, she nipped my finger. I pulled away too quickly, slammed the frame and my whole hand went numb. Sigh.

I was reaching to pick a lemon off my tree and got a thorn under my thumbnail and it broke off. After about a week my thumb was twice it's size and had to go to doctor to get it cut out. It was a mess! They had to cut my fingernail off to get it out! Ugh!
