I love home made tacos. They taste the best. But Taco Bell is pretty good too. Or tacos from a real mexican place. Those are awesome. As far as a side dish, some small nachos are good with maybe some beans or rice. I'd go for water to drink or soda. I like to eat soft or crunchy tacos with lettuce, meat, cheese, sour cream, tomatos and onions with a little guacmole on the side.

I like home made soft tacos. Either chicken tacos, or bean tacos. I prefer them either sautee'd in a small amt. of oil or some butter. Of course they have to be corn tortillas. Flour just doesn't work for me.
When I make tacos I usually have rice on the side, especially if I am serving bean tacos.
As for the beverage, iced tea works well, but you can pretty much have what you'd like.
Now I'm hungry. Gotta go.

I like the tacos at Tumbleweed.
I like tacos at home from Old El Paso or Taco Bell kits too, but it's easier to just go to Tumbleweed. Servers wait on you, the tacos taste good, and you don't have anything to clean up.
At home I'll make refried beans spread out in a pie plate with cheese melted on top as a side and eat it with tortilla chips.

Baja Beef Gordita from Taco Bell. Enchilada plate from Taco Cabana. Carne Guisada Burrito w/ Tex Mex sauce from Chuy's. I also make an excellent enchilada casserole that is a family favorite...Mug root beer is my personal preference, if beef is unavailable...refried beans and GOOD Mexican rice....

the best tacos are authentic mexican tacos i get while visiting my husband's family in mexico.
fresh corn tortillas, diced beef tongue, cilantro, cebolla, hot salsa y tequila. you really don't need anything else, but a salad with cucumbers, watermelon, salt, lime and more hot sauce is nice.
taco bell/taco johns, etc.: i cannot even describe how bad their food is.
