It seems like citizens have no recourse and cops always go free.

I ask this question because a lot of law abiding citizens are being threatened, framed, assaulted or killed while being detained and arrested by the police?

There are many recourse's, if it's a local cop go to the state or federal level to report it, go to the press, or get a lawyer and sue.The burden of proof will be on you though, better make sure you have it.

First, I think you've been watching too much TV.

Second, while there are some cops who get heavy handed, I don't think we're talking about the majority. Blaming the cops seems to be in style.

Third, the smart thing is to not be in positions where you can be mistreated by the cops. An example is the video that was on the news this week of the teenage girl. The cop stopped her due to curfew violation but she tried to run, then started screaming and resisting and eventually bit the cop. If she'd just stood there and talked to the cop, she'd never have been manhandled or pepper sprayed.

The legal answer here is of course to call the police. If you feel that you are not going to get a reasonable response, you call the police from another jurisdiction (e.g. the FBI).

Yes, police officers can be charged with assault.

Yes, framing someone is illegal (tampering with evidence, etc).

You can do a little research and find out who the "Internal Affairs" department is for the police department you are concerned about.

By-and-large, no, police ARE honest and due a hell-uv-a job under nasty circumstances. It wasn't just firemen who got killed on 9/11...

However, it takes but one apple to spoil the appearance of all.

it is so propose. what's clever relating to the region? An animal in discomfort? i don't get it. i think of there would desire to be larger fees on animal abusers than there already is. I propose, in case you won't be able to feed your dogs on the grounds which you're undesirable, you will desire to easily get your animal taken away and per danger an excellent. yet once you purpously reason injure to an animal, you will desire to spend a while in penitentiary.

I'm guessing you can start with having proof?

*Edited* Wow I suggested getting proof and got a thumbs down? Look if you want to accuse anyone of anything you BETTER have proof or keep your mouth shut. If this goes against what you want then I suggest getting therapy.
