Hi,
Children of today are so, so different to how we were yesterday. So much has changed. We were more independent, less supervised. We’d go out early in the day and walk for miles. My parents never knew where we were and weren’t that interested. We couldn’t keep in touch: no mobile phones in fact we didn’t get a phone until I was in my teens. Nowadays, we’re more aware of stranger-danger. There seem to be those children who are driven here there and everywhere and who have little autonomy, then there are those who hang around in crowds or around shopping centres and seem to be allowed to go into town at a much much younger age than we were. Weird! No computers, mobile phones, not as much technology. We’d spend the school holidays outside on our bikes or inside reading. We made our own entertainment and were happy doing so. We walked to school, had snowball fights, enjoyed playing in the snow and ice. Now children aren’t allowed to have snowball fights in the school yard and schools are closed at the merest drop of a snowflake! Studies have shown that fewer children have experienced such as a strong wind and rain blowing their umbrella inside out. Children are no longer childlike. Their eating habits have changed … burgers, ready meals. What happened to meat and two veg? We were more energetic. Children of today pick up on things we struggle to understand so very quickly. They seem wired to understand technology. I learned so much from my children as they grew older. So different, through the generations, so much to offer as we have to offer them.

Youths today have no concept of death.
The bigger the "gun" the bigger the man (boy)
Respect has a whole different definition then what it was.
Their actions are fueled by what "color" flag you wear.
To me, the bottom line is that we have lost our children in this war on drugs, abuse, lack of proper education and family values.
Today's youth don't respect themselves thus unable to respect society as a whole.

My children have taught me that life changes so fast between today's generations and my day, compared with my parents and their parents, that if we or our children don't get a grip on the population growth, than one day,all things will eventually become out of control,so much so,that no one will have control over what is happening from one day to the next.
Great Question... I Knew you would be the one to bring it to front line....THANKS VERY MUCH ! ! ! XXX star question.
