I have a compaq laptop (same as hp) it has a sd/ms pro... slot on the side. When I plug in my normal size sd card a window pops up asking what i want to do with this device, I just click open to view files and folders then copy my photos to my documents. So maybe as its a micro sd the laptop cant recognise it, even with the attatchment. Its either the reader, or the attatchment.

Does your Cell Phone Manual give any instructions about this?

The data on the Micro SD card may not be readable in Windows without specific software supplied by the phone manufacturer.
