i recently hit a curb (very hard and now something is grinding) (not my brakes) and the technician said it was most likely a spindle or a hub because he couldnt see anything visually... any ideas?

The spindle is the bar sticking out, on which the brake disc and wheel are attached.

The hub is what attaches to the control arms and tie rod, this holds the spindle.

The wheel bolts to the brake disc, which is attached to the spindle.

Poster above me has no ******* clue what they're talking about.

It's the thing the wheel bolts to.
