It's not the business themselves, it's everybody else that's worried. Politicians are worried that outsourced jobs will raise unemployment in their local communities, and those worker's wages will not get reinvested locally.

Young americans fear that the time and money spent to get a college degree will be worthless, because there will be no hi-tech jobs to utilize the degree.

Consumers associate outsourced call centers, like those in India, with poor customer service due to technical issues (like static or echoes) or cultural or communication problems.
