Yeah they all perished. The ghosts that Aragon summoned to fight for him from destroyed one of the armies of Orks and Uruks.
Most of the rest were destroyed when the Eye ruling over them was destroyed, with some fleeing we assume, when the Ring was cast into the volcano.
Hence, why the closing sequences of the film contain no more ghastly orks.

Yeah, those dead warriors cleaned them up. The Elves call them Yerch. Gorbag and Shagrat were my favourite. They killed each other.
