We are having a girl, and I am trying to pick out her nursery bedding. I love colorful things and not crazy about covering everything in pink. Any ideas?

Her furniture is white, her carpet is a neutral beige, and we can paint the walls any color.

I should have mentioned I hate Winnie the Pooh and cartoon character themes. I want something classy and girly.

Look on ebay. We found ur little girls bedding on there. It is lavender and cream. It is the french toile pattern(you know the little farmer boy and flowers and stuff) trimmed in gingham. It was really cute and girly but yet a little more classy. I was so excited to find it because I really don't like pink at all!! We painted the walls a pale spring green and it looks so good. I think the name of the ebay store is kidscastle. Good Luck !!!

Well, we had a boy and since we couldn't paint or change the carpet (renting) we got peel and stick decals from the recent move "Cars", and some glow in the dark stars. We didn't go all out on decorating because hopefully we will be home owners by the time he really starts to care about what his room looks like!

However, if it had been a girl she would have gotten kittens and puppy dogs with a purple and gold color scheme. Still not exactly sure how I would have arranged the colors for a girl since we found out early we were having a boy and the ultrasound left no room for doubt.

Animal themes are always cute and can be reused for the next child regardless of the sex. I agree that Winnie the Pooh is way overdone. I have so many sheets and receiving blankets with that theme that were given to me, oh well they work and I don't expect Better Homes and Gardens to be knocking on my door anytime soon.

Well I am not a huge pink fan either, but my husband insisted on Winnie the Pooh and something that looked girly. (I didn't like the classic Pooh, or most of the Pooh bedding that was Primary colors..) so we got our bedding set at Sears.. its actually Winnie the Pooh bedding for girls, and now that I got it and have it set up I think its adorable. Everything else in the room is some other color in the bedding so we don't have too much pink.. heres the link to it! Good luck and Congrats!

We are making the whole room look like a rainforest. There is going to be a mural all around the room of trees, flowers, and jungle animals, and the room is going to be filled with stuffed jungle creatures. We thought it was a great gender neutral idea, and would last until well into early childhood, where most nurseries have to be redone after 2 or 3 years.

what is with all the people who want pooh! Not a pooh fan. what about doing pink and brown. Very classy and modern! also pure white bedding would be nice with perhaps mint green walls? Good luck with your baby girl. I'm having a boy and went with airplanes cause my hubby is a pilot.

If you still want to retain some femininity in the form of traditional pink, why not pair it with mint green? This is a really hot trend right now - watch A Baby Story and several of the newest ones have a color combination of pink/mint green and it's soooo cute!

I did little yellow ducks.

The walls are a beautiful green and I put up a ducky boarder.

This is the border that I used. I know it doesn't look like it matches, but it turned out really cute.
I just added a few blue touches to the room to bring in the blue on the border and it works!

Noah's Ark is always a good choice for any gender and it's really cute. If you're not the religious type...maybe zoo animals. Baby Giraffes are the cutest things and they look more for a girly nursery without the annoying pink everywhere. Good Luck :)

My daughters theme is carebears. You can buy the removable wall border and take a color on it and paint the walls. We arent allowed to paint the walls here. But you could go with the purple or yellow colors add the border, it'd be really cute.
