I think it is pretty fun to see what people are thinking about. I like to answer the big life and death questions because when I'm thinking about someone's question, I find I get clarity on my own opinion by putting together an answer, it doesn't matter so much if they think I'm right or wrong. For the how-to questions, I like helping people if I have a solution to their dilemma. And it's always fun to watch your points and see your percentages. I answer a lot more than I ask, but when I have a specific tricky question where the answer is harder to find, or if I want a variety of opinions, this is a cool forum. This whole thing can be pretty addictive.
In the end, though, improving my life? Only as much as a helpful website will allow.

I was going to say "No,' but then I thought for a second while reading the other answers. After much consideration (okay, it was only a few seconds) I realized that I was wrong. It has, though not to a great degree. Whether it's simply to pass time, or the bonus of having met some really great people on here..I get an opportunity to think about other things.

I actually feel somewhat better about myself. I have gotten answers to so many questions I have about life, especially about religion and spirituality. I also always loved math and was great at it. However, because I have not taken math courses in a long time, I have forgotten a lot of it. Going on the math section and helping others with their questions allows me to retain and remember some things about math.

It gives me comic relief. There are days where there is too much depression and sadness and seriousness in this house so I go on P&S and be silly. It's like therapy but better and cheaper!

yeah kinda it gives me a chance to c how people view things and gives me options and advice it kinda helps but i dont type in some stuff cause there is no telling who gets on this website
