a little learning is a dangerous thing.

there are no open auditions for inexperienced nobodies. only experienced professional actors need apply.

the idea that there is a magical audition, or website or agent who can turn you and the hundreds of thousands like you into actors is a myth There is no such thing.

If you live near Lincoln in the UK, contact the University of Lincoln drama dept. A film is about to be shot in lincoln about the life of Elizabeth 1st and the production team have contacted the uni asking for extras to audition.

No experience needed!

where do you live? do you have a portfolio?
do you have an agent?
do you belong to an acting guild
are you over the age of 18

there are always auditions. So look harder and you will find the right one
