I have a zipper that wouldn't stay up on a pair of jeans. I bought a little hook and closure like on the back of a bra. Eyelet I think its called. Anyway I sewed it right below the top of the zipper--just a lil on the outside of the zipper hooks-- and everytime I zip it I have to hook the closure as well but the zipper cant slide down b/c there isnt enough room.

Nylon zippers in general are kinda crappy like that.

I don't know if the pull is plastic, too, but I have had success with clamping the pull a little. If it is plastic, it will break, so think before you try this.
