That is the general idea if you take the conservative traditional view of a wedding.
Of course it is a pretty sexist and outmoded view of the world. Marrying someone you have never slept with is honestly pretty stupid. It's a bit late to find out that you are not sexually compatible with your husband on the wedding night. You have just promised God and all your family and friends that you are going to be together forever and you have not even lived with the guy or had a sexual relationship with him? Sorry, but I think that is grossly irresponsible and is probably why half of all marriages fail in this country.

no, of course not. if you can have sex and want to, it is nice, you have a gift of healthy body. But what kind of a cruel question is this for those who cant for some health or age reasons? Well, your world is small, only allows happy, well-socialised, nice-behaviored, agreeable, without-mental and health-problems people. Good luck. It smells so bad, I wouldnt want to be around such smell. I prefer jasmine.

yes, why would it be? that's the way it's supposed to be,(though if done in the shower for the first time, easy clean up!) there was a time when no one had sex until after they married, it's something that is making a comeback last i heard....

Everything I'm finding just mentions plain milk to increase his virility. I'm sorry, I'm not finding anything about why. I think it's just one of those traditions that's too old to trace.

I didn't.
My period came the day of my wedding, I was so ticked off.
Instead we cuddled and spent time overlooking the Chicago Skyline from the Hotel Room.
