Yeah! It was quite funny actually. I pretended to be dodgy and suspicious in front of this old guy who went on to tell a store detective. He followed me for a bit after I put something sneakily into a suitcase that was for sale but it was only a screwed up receipt. I was only young and it kept me amused while mother browsed for clothes she later took back anyway.

once in the coop in exeter. a guy was following me around the store about 2 " behind me. everytime i stopped and looked around he looked away. even when i queued for the checkout he stood waiting nearby. even when i put my stuff on the conveyor he was still skulking around!. as the checkout girl started putting my stuff through isaid in a very loud voice "that man over there is he the store detective?" and pointed at him . of course all the other shoppers in the queue turned around and stared at him. while the checkout girl ummmed and ahhhed i said as loudly as before "not very good at his job is he?" . it made some of the shoppers laugh.
i still go to that store sometimes but i havent seen the dim store detective since

Yes. lt's because l keep reading labels. They probably thought l'm going to put it in my pocket. l look at them and they look away. l've noticed they follow a lot of customers in the store. They're paranoid. lol
