Hello Somber,

Like all Q&A sites you have your good and your bad.

A great many subscribers to Answers UK spend a great deal of time and effort not only researching an answer but finding acceptable links to support those answers.

Those of us who also answer questions from people who need help with personal problems and dilemmas mostly spend even more time making sure that they word their answers in an easily understandable and helpful manner.

We can normally see by the answers who has spent time in making sure their answers are correct etc.

I have worked on many Q&A sites over the years and one thing I have realised is that whilst I am researching and answering questions from others, I am learning a great deal myself.

Unfortunately there are a minority of subscribers who abuse the site and do everything they can to disrupt it.

No.
Many are based solely on opinion. Not based on fact. Much of the political bias in a lot of answers is media based. Funny how questions/answers pop up the same day of news coverage with the same results. People don't do any real research. They rely solely on the media to supply it for them.

LOL, no I would not agree! Most people just regurgitate their party lines. Once in a while someone will offer a good perspective while offering proof and posting links. That also goes for questions that offer a perspective as a base for the question!

When I get a truly good or interesting question to answer, I go out of my way to give it the best answer I can. When someone is Pounding on another, I go for 2..Get my point???

No! I don't agree. Most of these post consist of biased beliefs and rants that are disguised as questions. So therefore, it's hard to research an answer when this section is constantly flooding with questions like that.

No, most lack any kind of fact finding or proof, or even a link. Take, for example, people thinking that Rush insulted the troops, when he was talking about a proven phoney soldier.

Sorry if that bothers some, but that is actually the truth. Listen to the transcript.

NO!!! i recon most people just answer with anything they can come up with, and don't really care whether they are actually giving really useful, in-depth answers! lol!
if someone can be bothered to research their answers, most people will put their sources.

Some of them are well thought off by people who actually know what they are saying while others are just plain garbage. Some people just say whatever comes to mind.

Nope, most are honest from the heart opinions, and that it what makes this county great, we can have opinions and not get thrown in jail or killed for them. Factual? Mostly not.
