I have suffered from migraines ever since I was 10 years old. I am now 27. I have a migraine 2 times a week. I do know that there are several triggers for a migraine. Stress being one of them. The more stressed you are the higher your BP goes up. Thus, the reason for a migraine. You have probably talked to your doctor about preventative meds to help them from not occurring and there is a mild BP med that they use to prevent them. I know migraines are life consuming and no fun at all. I have lots of info from my Neurologist if you would like to stay in touch and compare notes that would be great! Just email me. Good luck and try to keep them at bay if at all possible!

I'm not sure about lowering blood pressure, but regulating it does. (That's how it was explained to me.) I get migraines and was put on a beta blocker which is a heart medication that keeps your blood flowing evenly at all times throughout your body. It helps lessen the contractions of the blood vessels in the brain that causes migraines. This medication has helped lessen the severity of the migraines, and also the frequency. I was put on 25mg of Toprol once a day. Talk to your doctor about it!
