Do you still hate his guts, have you changed your mind about him, would you love to see a comeback story here? Just wondering what current thoughts are on him...

What he did is disgusting and he wasn't even a man about it. Everyone screws up and makes bad decisions (even really bad, overly obvious, stupid, stupid, stupid, ones such as Vick's) but at least have the guts to REALLY stand up and say "I did it and I am really sorry. I was super dumb, knew it was wrong and did it anyway. But it will NOT happen again." (sidebar - I know he apologized, but with the amount of time it took, someone had to push him into it. You shouldn't have to be forced to be have honor. BE A MAN.

I have no respect for him and, as a woman, have no idea how any girl/woman could respect or want to be with someone so gutless. When you mess up, own up. Period. Get your dignity back by having some guts to step up. Real women don't like spineless men and that's what Vick is. I'm over it. Liked him before...not anymore.

LASTLY, don't play the race card. I am so sick of hearing it. It is the loudmouths yelling "race" all the time that are causing racial division. It isn't about race. It is about doing something WRONG to something (or could've been someone) innocent!

First of all, I've never hated M. Vick, I watched him in college at Va. Tech, and I've seen him in the pro game.
I did, however, lose a lot of respect for Vick. He lied about so many things concerning the dog fighting. Now, he is caught having smoked pot, before his sentencing. I just don't know if any pro team in the future, will want to risk having Vick on their team. Look at the way most in the league feel about R. Williams. You see, doing these things hurts not just the individual, but the team as a whole......
I also am a dog owner, and lover, and I'll never understand how some one could possibly be so cruel to such a fine animal and pet.

I am a fan of Michael Vick the football player, but I have never particularly been a fan of Michael Vick the person. He has always had lousy judgment and morals as evidenced by his participation in dog fighting and subsequently lying about it. With that said, I would love to see Vick on the field...he's fun to watch and the NFL is about entertainment.

Michael Vick is a low life. Why would you do something like that to an animal, that had done nothing to you.. That is why Pit Bulls have a bad name, I have owned one of these dogs and they are not man eaters like people make them out to be.. They grow up on how they are raised, and if they are raised wrong they will grow to be vicious. What he did was wrong and then he lied to try and cover it up. He should be punished for what he did, just like anyone else would've been. He will get what he deserves, and I agree fully with Denis Leary; he shoud have raw meat attached to him and let his *** run from endzone to endzone with dogs chasing him. Maybe he will realize then that he screwed up. I STILL HATE MICHAEL VICK!!

I would still like to see every cruel thing he did to those dogs visited upon him personally. I still believe he is scum of the earth. It doesn't matter if several months or several centuries pass. What he did is still wrong.

"Several months" haven't passed. Nothing will change the fact that he lied about financing the dog fighting going on at his property, he lied about having anything to do with the hands-on operation there of, he lied, lied, lied.

I don't think he's that bad.....no one makes a big deal about Lindsay Lohan's drunk driving...that's putting people's lives at danger. I feel like if this were Tom Brady, a big deal would be made BUT he would get off....I think this all boils down to race

i feel like he is being over-punished for his role in dogfighting.the cost in prison time as well as the loss of millions of dollars and ability to play football is unprecedented in the history of justice.he didn't think that it was such a big deal when he was getting involved in it.this mistake has cost him dearly.
