Probably Thompson....I can't say with absolute certainty until he reveals more about his platform.

Family values, traditional morals, etc., are a HUGE factor in my decision to vote for a candidate. I truly believe that the morals of this nation are centered in each individual home, and what we perceive as moral/immoral, is going to have a ripple effect on every single issue this country faces...so in short, I want to see a candidate who:

* is pro-life
* anti-gay marriage
* pro-death penalty
* strong domestic AND foreign policy
* willing to defend this country against even POTENTIAL enemies
* willing to stand up to foreign nations if we (the US) think differently
* would love to see us exit the UN (this if probably fantasy)

Lots more but I won't keep on...

with the exception of ron paul, who wont win, the republicans have a real batch of losers in the primary. i would vote for whoever, appears closest to defeating Giuliani. not to sound cocky, but as a new yorker i feel we have a more intimate knowledge of just how much of a dick this guy is. he did some good things for new york, like cleaning up the crime in particular, but we were happy to see him leave. as a president he will be even worse believe me. the guy says one stupid thing after another in public and he is actually terribly ill informed about the history of american foreign policy. no room to get into it all, but seriously, look him up.

Ron Paul

NOTA

None of the above. The closest to a rational position is Ron Paul and 3 votes won't get him elected.
