This close to my wifes family. The rest of us dont care if it was extremists . We want it stopped. Iam scared to return to visit our family

Unfortunately it will not end until everybody learns the hard way that Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr. were right all along. Violence is not the answer, it only leads to more unanswerable questions. An eye for an eye does not work. It only leads to a lot of people who cannot see the light.
Maybe we can start a peace movement on line. Boycott all government entities and all corporations that support the status quo. What do you think? Refuse to buy goods from repressive regimes. Walk or ride a bike or at least get a ride instead of supporting big oil. Opt to support alternative, greener energy whenever possible. One person might not make much of a difference, but if one person tells three more, and they each tell three more, and so on...

I didn't hear about the bomb in the Philippines. I am certainly sorry two children were killed. According to what many authorities in many other countries claim, this will be a way of life for a very long time to come. Extremists will always be trying to take innocent lives where ever they can, and it's not going to stop. In the U.S. and Europe, eight bombing plots have been stopped, due to intelligence gathering. But an attempt will succeed now and then. I don't blame you for fearing to visit your family.

It will only end when we can force out darkness with the light of the western enlightenment. That means an end to political correctness. We need to have the courage of our convictions as western progressives.

I can understand your fear of returning there. Can you afford a ticket to bring them to you? This type of abuse looks like its going to be around for a long time. I am sorry for you situation.
