What does this quote mean: "live life likes its a rental car"?
I saw it on someones myspace...

I understand it as:
"Don't take life for granted. Take care of it well. Have an adventure. Give it more substance and distance."
I don't think anyone ever rented a car without a story behind it. They need to take care of it well because it might cost them. More often the reason for renting is going to a place they have not been to. It could be a start of an adventure.
It's a good quote. It encourages you to go the distance. Try hopping in a bus not knowing where it can take you. Something that could make you say, "been there, done that!"

You have to understand that you and your body are two different entities.When you say, my house,my car ,my camera,my computer,you know that these things are not you but are other than you. Similarly, when you say, my head, my hands, my body, my legs, then also you have to accept that these components of your body are other than you. Then what are you ? You are the SOUL. The soul is living in the body like living in a rented house or driving in a rented car. A day will certainly come when you have to leave your body,just like you leave the rental car.Soul is immortal and will enter another body in due course. I hope I have explained your question in a short way.

once it's a rental you'll treat it with care and guard it with your life so it don't get a scratch or hit and just have fun in it for the time you have it thats the same way you'd treat your life because it means something to you.

people dont worry about their rental cars, they ride them hard and dont care. the quote means that u should not worry so much about life and take risks.

I'm not sure but my ex-wife is like a rental car. Looks good, but has been driven hard by a lot of people.
