Might I suggest a robbery? It would be easy to be framed for that...

For example, you live in New York City near the art museum. In fact, you can walk there in 5 minutes. One night, around 3AM, you wake up and can't seem to sleep, so you end up taking a walk. As you're passing the art museum, police cars surround you. They ask you where you hid a stolen painting. They say that there was a painting that had been stolen that night, and that you were the only one in the vicinity at the time.

Does that help? Feel free to let me know if you need more ideas or help writing/editing it.
=)

you and your mate get in the a car with someone who has been drinking, he crashes your mate dies and he gets out of the car and leaves you for the blame, when the police arrive they see you sitting there and automatically think its you who was driving, you try to explain that the driver ran away and they wont have any of it.
I know this sounds complicated but you'll easy fill an a4 page with this, good luck!!

Pick up a newspaper. For example, a 12-year-old student was accused of leaving a voicemail threatening to kill a teacher.
