Im a landlord and I doubt he'll charge you more I usually charge a 1 time 10-15$ fee for my work to make a new lease, depending on the people I may charge nothing. I personally find it ridiculas to raise rent for that but some slimy landlords might

It's common for landlords to charge higher rent if more people are living in the apartment. Talk to the landlord and ask - he might just go along with it without an increase, but probably will raise the rent.

how are you at negotiating with a landlord? What you are willing to pay and what he can get for rent.? Up front in writing
