I agree with you. I'm not sure when or why body hair became a "hygiene" issue. If you don't want to slice yourself with a razor, or rip your follicles out with wax, or smear yourself with something strong enough to dissolve the skin along with the hair, I don't see why you should be considered dirty, as long as you wash regularly. As far as men and the "dental floss" question... trimming that down with a pair of scissors is usually sufficient to cure that.

Am a men and I never say or even think such a thing.
In the matter of fact, In general we as human being should keep the hair in our body but we should maintain the hair on certain part even there is a part of our body we should shave or pull it out the hair no matter what gender we are. For example ARMPIT.
In certain part of our body we should trim the hair from time to time to keep it short as shave is not suitable on this part.
Not all men do not like hairy women as there were some woman who do not like hairy men.
Hygienic or Unhygienic is nothing to do with GENDER nor HAIR but more on individual awareness on how important to live in clean and hygienic environment.

Its just whats become acceptable in society and the norm. I don't know if there is a society that finds this acceptable, who knows??
Also, i don't know...we're the opposites to the men.. a mans skin's alot tougher, women are smoother..i guess its the same with hair too...lol, i don't think back in the stone age they cared bcz it was also retained for keeping the body heat in...over the years and as man has evolved..body hair on women had become less and less attractive hence i guess why we all get rid of it.
My thoughts anyways.unless you get a better answer.

I never heard a man saying it's unhygienic. Unattractive several times, but unhygienic never.

Hair = masculine.
Hairless = feminine.
For that reason, it is perfectly normal for a man to have more hair - after all it is masculine - and a man should be, in my opinion, masculine.
It is also the reason as to why a woman should have minimal body hair - because smooth skin and a good beauty regimen (i.e. waxing, moisturising) is considered to be feminine, which it is, and thus this is reflected in the way the woman presents herself to the world, and to her partner.

No, they don't. My husband doesn't mind my hairy armpits.
What's unhygenic is not washing regularly, especially around your naughty bits.

because those nasty boys love touching us, it is to our benefit to have less hair and give the boy cooties less opportunities to hang onto us.
