The dreams just consist of us talking to one another. He was my world when I was young. I haven't dreamt about him in years & I am wondering if this has any meaning to it? I would like to hear your thoughts....

Good for you. I'm sure your Dad is with you in your room while you sleep. You have too remember what he is trying to tell you! Maybe it's just saying he loves you. This has happened to me too! So cool!

I believe that you are missing him as always but recently events in your life make you miss him even stronger.

Did something important or major happen in your life recently that makes you want to go back to the past when your dad is still around?

Your sub conscious shows that he was living in the past when you were young which might mean you had a happy childhood when your dad was around.

Prehaps you can try talking to your mom or siblings or close relatives on your dreams and open up your hearts. ^^

There are a lot of people who use self-talk to handle what is going on inside their minds. When self-talk is not monitored cautiously it can lead to drastic effects not only on one’s personality but also affects its mentality and psychology. Self-talk is a type of conversation which we conduct with ourselves. In literature we call it soliloquy. Brain’s reticular activating system never forgets what we repeat again and again. Ironically this system can not recognize what is beneficial to the individual and what is not. Think you can, think you can't; either way, you'll be right- a saying goes like this. Therefore when ever we ‘talk’ with ourselves, we should be cautious, very cautious in fact. There are a lot of audio programs which can help and there are a lot of online books. If I recall there is a book ‘self-talk solutions’ which is every effective in this scenario.

No cant say I have but it means that he is thinking of you in only a way he can. You must of been thinking of him before he went to sleep. Dreams are mysterious but they do tell us things if we just let them. He was your world as a kid and he is still in your world now and will always be connected.

Oh babe...I have those too with my grandpa that passed in '88! We were so close and I love having dreams about him...hugging me and talking to me! I can really feel the love he is sending me! I don't have them often and I have noticed the last few times I had one of him...something bad happens in my life! I really truly feel that it his way of warning me and to reassure me that everything is going to be just fine! And ya know what? It ALWAYS is!!! I think your dad may just be telling you that he is always with you and that he loves you very much! Remember these dreams when you can and cherish them sweetheart...until you meet with him again someday...in heaven! That is what I do!!! *Hugs to you babe* =D

each so often loss of existence in objectives isn't literal. it might desire to point that your love and dedication for him is finally laid to relax. the visual charm of your mom with the aid of fact the messenger would desire to point which you recognize which you eventually being emotionally resolved from the region could certainly make her experience that "adequate became into adequate." you additionally can subconsciously concern that your daughters could be devastated to income which you do unlike your ex "like THAT" anymore, and that there is not any danger of resurrecting the relationship. All in all, perhaps you're finally shifting on. each so often our psyche purely needs to settle on those issues whether we experience like we are/are not waiting for it in our waking lives. i do no longer understand many of the history on your subject, yet i understand in uncomplicated terms a tiny bit approximately objectives. wish this enables.

My parents have been gone for a few years now and I dream about them from time to time. Sometimes the dreams are like yours, and I feel like they are "visiting" me and I like that...sometimes though when I dream about my Mom it is like she cannot hear me or is ignoring me...but I think that is my own feelings of guilt for not having been there much in her later years. It bothers me for days to have dreams like that. But I value the positive ones.
