It sounds like a cold. When you drink, the immune system takes a vacation. Take a Centrum or muti-vitamin to give your body a boost to fight it off. Put a hot washcloth on your sinuses and rest. And my trick, I don't know why it works, but I swear by it. Eat some hot and sour soup. That always clears my sinuses out. Plus it's usually made from chicken broth which is the old stand-by for being sick anyway. And get as much as you can and eat well.
Good luck getting rid of that bug, and good luck on the test!

Yes you could have a cold but I would be more inclined to think you had either bad wine, bad food or a reaction to something on Friday evening because vomiting isn't usually associated with a cold. The sore throat could well be the result of being sick but combined with a stuffy nose and now a 'tickly' throat sounds more like cold! Whatever, your major concern is tomorrows course, isn't it, so night and day nurse [Vicks] may be more beneficial than paracetamol alone.

Get liquid Echinacea at Sun Harvest or other health food store. Put recommended drops in liquid-follow directions. It will cost around $18.00 and will in be refrigerated area of herbs/medicines. This is what coaches swear by for their players who get a bad cold right before a big game. It really does stop a cold from developing and makes it go away sooner. We have been using it for years now. Get rest...eat chicken noodle soup, too. Good luck on the test. Don't drink so young...you will wear out your liver by the time you are 21 and look OLD sooner (old hag drunk look, you've seen it on people)

There are several tests that say airborne does not work so i tried this medicine from health and care that you take every 2 hours and it helps the symptoms and helps get you recovered. I havent been very good about taking it every 2 hours but im sure if i did it would work better cause it already kind of works. You can get Health and Care i think it's called at any local drug store. Like Longs Drugs Rite Aide or Walgreens. Hope you feel better.

Don't know if it is a hangover or cold. Probably a cold.
Take airborne every 3 hours and also buy the gummi lozenges that they make. The gummi lozenges taste horrible, but I did this combination last time I felt a cold coming on, and it was gone in less than 24 hours of doing this.

Sounds like Candida, Candida is a form of yeast that exists naturally in everyone. It is normally harmless and is simply present in the body, alot of Candida overgrowth symptoms is alot like the "common cold"...such as alot of thick mucus/spit in the throat, sore throat, runny nose, headache, stuffy nose, sinus ache, stuffy head...the list goes on. Actually that's all a "cold" is, It's a fungal infection...not usually bacteria or a virus. That's the reason why they don't have a so-called cure for the common cold cause they're trying to treat the wrong thing. So, if the body for one reason or another falls out of balance, Candida can grow excessively, leading to a host of problems. There is a combination of a variety of different factors that allows this form of yeast to wreak havoc on the human body. Two of the main causes is sugar and alcohol.
There are certain individuals that are more prone to Candida overgrowth than others. It is understood that individuals with compromised immune systems are more susceptible than others for abnormal Candida growth. When the immune system is compromised the body is vulnerable to attack from a wide variety of pathogens - not just Candida. Interestingly, Candida can often start to flourish when a person uses antibiotics as antibiotics kill off the good bacteria that are instrumental in keeping Candida production in check. When good bacteria is depleted the environment for Candida to thrive is created.
Fortunately, there are ways to treat Candida naturally. The mindset to treating Candida should be to return the body to its natural state of equilibrium so that it's less likely to come back in the future. When treating Candida naturally the idea is that no prescription medications, doctor visits, or medications are necessary to fix the problem.
Using a combination of supplements, changes to the diet, anti-fungal agents, and vitamins and minerals can be effective in the battle against Candida. Using vitamins, nutrients, and supplements will enable the body to rid the body of excess yeast growth. Due to the hectic lives many of us lead, it is fairly difficult for people to properly balance their diets. It is tempting to drink coffee, eat junk food, and ignore the variety of vitamins and nutrients the body so desperately needs. Vitamins and nutrients that are effective in treating Candida include vitamins A, C, E, selenium, zinc, iron, Glutamine, and HEALTHY fatty acids such as Flaxseed oil. These substances are more available than ever before. Not only do health food stores and pharmacies carry these products - you can also find them at major supermarket chains.
Foods and ingredients you should avoid is all sugar as it is an element that is helping the development of the Candida yeast infection. Therefore, it is most important that you reduce the quantity of carbohydrates you are consuming daily. You must cut off any yeasty foods as they're creating the perfect environment for the multiplying of the Candida yeast infection in your body. Also, you have to eliminate bread, beer, cheese and alcoholic drinks from your diet habits during while trying to recover.
You must reduce the quantity of dairy products you are usually consuming. The reason for this is one side effect of the Candida yeast infection - the decrease of the human body's ability to digest fat foods. Another thing you should do while following the Candida diet is to eliminate fungi and mold from your nutrition. You also have to give up eating processed or packaged foods because they contain sugar, yeast or other substances which are helping the Candida yeast infection to spread.
Hope this helps, you can read more about Candida at http://detox-flush.blogspot.com

you could be experiencing symptoms of acid reflux, esp. if they appeared overnight. Acid reflux will irritate everything in your throat all the way up to your sinuses; and if it's painful/difficult to breathe/swallow, I would guess that your epiglottis is irritated as well. Try "Mucinex" (with active ingeredient 'guaifenisin') found in the cold/allergy medicine section, taken with extra amounts of water, to help clear the mucus that makes it harder to breathe. If your nose runs, never sniffle: it only prolongs congestion. Relax whenever possible & you will heal quickly. Expect to fully recover within a week.
