My husband and I have decided to name our daughter Hanna Rain (No special reason we just liked it and agreed on it together.) Just last week a close aunt of mine died. I feel like i should have her name in my daughters name some how. (I feel like its some sign?...) I also like the idea of my mothers name in my daughters name to. Do you have any suggestions on how to put the names together? With only one middle,last and first.? The Last name is Gay. Thanks in advance!

I love the name Hanna Rain and I also like the name Melanie Rain but I think you could honor your aunt and mother in a different way. Hanna Rain was your first decision and just because your aunt died you shouldn't feel obligated to change it. Sorry about your aunt and good luck with the baby!

Maybe just pick one of the names you like out of your aunt's name.Hanna Rain Gloradean Melanie Gay or Hanna Rain Gloradean Candace Gay.God Bless!

Presonnally I like the name Hanna, so I would use that as a first name and then maybe put your mother's name or your aunts first or middle name as her middle name. Good Luck!

Hanna Rain(e) is a very pretty name (I prefer it with an 'e' at the end). I like Gloradean, never seen anyone with that name. Separately, Melanie and Candace are pretty common names. How about mixing all three up and see which one you like best?

Hanna Melanie is very pretty...or Melanie Rain.
Gloradean is awful old-fashioned but still pretty in it's own right. I would possibly save that for maybe another girl in the future.

I think you should put the aunt's name in her name, but maybe save your mother's for youyr next child because she's still alive? how About Hanna Candace Gay? or Hanna Melodie Gay? First name is more important than middle name, so I'd go with your favorite for the first name!
