Depends on the type of dog you're talking about. If you've got a natural casing dog or bratwurst start of by boiling them with some beer then grill them bad boys up to finish 'em up. If it's a skinless dog you gotta boil 'em. Try throwing some onions in the water.

The best hot dogs are butterfly-ed, soaked in beer, and grilled on both sides. You can't eat just one - they are sooooo good, you'll want 2 or 3. And get some cold beer and potato salad ready for the picnic.
