No Constitution or Article in the Bill of Rights are so involved.

The Rights of the Colonists was written in 20 November 1772 as a report of the Committee of Correspondence and was written primarily by Samuel Adams. Governor Hutchinson had alleged that it was written by Benjamin Franklin but that wasn’t true. Franklin merely provided it to the British press when he received his copy in London.

The Declaration of the First Continental Congress was written in 1774.

The Declaration of Independence was written in 1776.

The Articles of Confederation were ratified in 1778.

The Constitution of the United States was written in 1787.

The Bill of Rights was ratified in 1791.
