Hmm.. personally... when I think of 'Robin' I don't see a boy. I see a girl.
The name has been used for boys in the past like, Robin Hood and Robin in the Batman series.
But... I really think that even though it's a unisex name, that Robin should be for girls only.

In theory it is a nice name, but with the popularity of Batman and Robin the boy wonder, it's probably fuel for kids to pick on him. But remember, he will not be a kid forever, so go with what you like.

I personally like it as in Christopher Robin in Winnie the Pooh but kids can be so mean today if you have a boy give him Karate lessons when he grows up

Cute! Robin sounds like a minature boy that can play the flute. Try signing him up for flute lessons.

I think it's sweet - but not such a good name for a teen or a grown man. I'd be tempted to name him Robert and call him Robin, so he has some more mature alternatives for when he gets older.

I think the name is cute. I went to school with two Robins that were gay so that's mainly what I think of but I think it is a cute name. Good Luck!

robin is an ok name i mean depending on how it goes with the lsat name. But i see it as more of a girly name but then again i think it can be either one like Dakota and Danny can be boy and girls names....me i like the names Garron and Lakin

uh, i dont really like robin as a guy name, i think it better suits a girl. robin just sounds too feminine, and your son will probably get picked on a lot if you were to name him that. but if you really want to name him tht, then go for it.

hmmm more common for boys a generation-or-so ago... I think it's a little too different now. More of a girls name, but you know if you like it- use it! My 6 year old goes to school with a boy named Kelley
