I've ben watching that 70's show for a while and have always wondered where fez is from. They never say on the series, but they give clues. It's an island, for one thing. There is a white upper class-ish half of the island and a more native half of it. Fez says his country never fought a war but later mentions they won a war against the British.

The world will never know. It's a great running gag with long-running shows. They all have some sort of secret that keeps the show running strong. Here are some examples: The Simpsons- where's Springfield?, Days of our Lives- where's Salem?, Cheers- we never saw Vera (Norm's wife), Frasier- we never see Maris (Niles's wife), Married w/ Children- we never saw Peg's mother. There are so many more, you'll always have fun thinking "why?".

Although there's no definitive answer, it would make sense that Fez is actually from Indonesia, due to the description of an island which has been ruled by both the British and the Dutch.

Both Fez's home country and his actual name ("Fez" was an abbreviation for "Foreign Exchange Student") were deliberately never revealed.
