While there was no official line on the Michigan App. State game, you can always get action if you know where to look -- and in certain "unofficial" circles, shall we say, Michigan was favored by 26.

exactly i been trying to say that all day. USC lost to a 40pt underdog. When you are favored to be a team even if you play your JV cheerleading for three quarters your are supposed to beat that team. It wasnt just the fact they lost to Stanford that diminishes their claim for any share of the National Title but the fact why was the game that close going into the 4th quarter anyway. Thats not just a slight against the offense being without Booty. Thats on the defense not being able to stop the other teams offense. People forget there are 3 phases to a football game. USC fans they dont just let you suit up your offense to play games. Yall have to play defense too and as I recall Dennis Dixon ran over your D. Last time I checked LSU had a pretty good running game.

I don't care.
I am just happy to see USC lose, and to a nobody team like stanford.
I bet all the USC fans are going to stay quiet for a long time. There is nothing good to say about them.
This is going to be a very interesting year for the National Championship. It is looking like USF will be eligible soon to compete.

Leave Stanford alone! Leave them alone! After all they've been through! That's why their new song is called "Gimme More" because all you people want is more! more! more! more! Leave them alone! They're human! Leave them alone!
